SEO-IPs
What are SEO IPs?
Definition: SEO-IPs -> IPs on separate C Class networks, (where the 3rd Quartet of the IP Address differs from one another) sometimes wrongly referered to as Class C IPs or C Class IPs.
What are they used for?
If you own multiple websites and want to increase your PageRank by interlinking your websites, search engines are not stupid. They know if your domains/websites are hosted on the same machine, increasing the probability that they are owned/operated by the same person/company. Even if the IP belongs to the same network, the probability it belongs to the same person/company is higher.
By using SEO IPs, the domains/websites appear to search engines as if they are hosted on separate servers, or even in different countries (See GEO IPs) which reduces the probability that they are owned/operated by the same person/company.
Interlinks betweene sites on different Class C networks therefore, allegedy, carry more weight with search engines and many SEO tools and services report this as links from different C Blocks.
Easy to use
UnixGuru Hosting has launched the Multiple Class C IP SEO / SEM Hosting services.
Now you can create backlinks for your websites from a single hosting account managed in DirectAdmin.
You don’t need to be a SEO expert & a company to afford using this type of hosting.
We’ve enabled regular webmasters & freelancers to start creating their own small network of sites using our Multiple C Class IP Hosting.
The cost of dedicated IPs for your blog and SEO sites on top of your standard hosting can soon become expensive for your small business.
This is why we are now offering the SEO-IP . The principle is this; why not use multiple shared IPs on multiple Class C subnets for your support sites and only have a dedicated IP for any sites which take money via SSL.
Each SEO IP in sat on a different UK Class C sub-net
Dedicated IP’s are still available for £15 a year, and a Bundle with SSL can be bought for £35 a year!
