No Overselling
No Overselling to our customers
We do not oversell our shared or reseller hosting to our customers.
Overselling is the practice of selling more disk-space, bandwidth and processing power to a customer than they can physically offer with that machine.
Like a rush on a bank, if every customer tried to take all of their money out of a bank, the bank would go bankrupt.
On an oversold machine, if every customer started to use the disk capacity that they were sold the machine could not hold that much data. If every customer used the bandwidth they were sold, the machine could not cope with pushing that much data.
We do not oversell our resources, you can use every byte of your disk-space and bandwidth without having to worry about performance.
Reseller Overselling
We do allow our reseller to oversell their resources, this is because they themselves are bound by the resources that we have sold to them. They cannot exceed the boundaries of their package, but must upgrade as they approach them, otherwise they risk both themselves and their customers being suspended.
